WE in the internet marketing game call visitors to you web site TRAFFIC. And this traffic literally is the life blood of any internet business.

I don’t care how pretty or well thought out your site is, or how much you have spent getting your site built…without Targeted human visitation (Traffic) you won’t make any money!

Let’s look at how to increase your web traffic.



First we can just go ahead and buy heaps of traffic and have it pointing to our web site, if you have the cash you could have millions a day going to your web site …now that is impressive if you just like numbers.

However I can tell you now you will not get many sales from this approach.  WHY you ask?

Well lets assume you’re  selling an ebook (electronically delivered book) about getting rid of head lice, but it turns out that 99% of those people you have paid big money  just to get customers  to your site, just aren’t the slightest bit interested in head lice’…. in fact they were  only interested in train sets… Woops!… do you see the problem ?

This is what is called  NON Targeted Traffic, and it’s virtually useless to you. So unless you can buy traffic that is only interested in head lice, buying is a waste  of money, as far as I’m concerned. So if you really want to increase web traffic, you will have to take a different approach.

FREE TRAFFIC …( Organic Traffic)

Free Traffic  can be very profitable for you, however there is a little work to do before you get it flowing to your sites. You see there is no Free Ride!

But a little work now may well cause you to generate a passive income that once started is hard to stop.

I’m sure you will have heard the stories of people putting up a web site , doing the necessary work then have their site earn good money on virtual autopilot. How does this happen you ask.

 

  • Well to increase web traffic and have free (organic) traffic flowing to your site you will have to,  find a niche that over 1000 people per month are searching for.

 

  • Find good money keywords within that niche, use a keyword tool to check for your competition..some competition is a good sign, so don’t worry too much about it.

 

  • Write, or have written articles that are populated with that keyword. and submit them to article bases.

 

  • Use all avenues such as you tube, social media,bookmarking sites, Blogs, Forum posting  …the list goes on ..

 

  • Search for on topic blogs and create a back link to your site.

 

All this to get that targeted traffic, yep I told you there was a little work and there are still many ways to get traffic to your site, all you need is patience and time to cover all the bases, but you will increase web traffic and see people coming to your site and the sales will surely follow.

So as you see  there is no need to buy traffic, to increase web traffic,  the organic way takes a little longer, however it is by far the better way to go if you want to generate a good passive income.
